Job Description

A mid-size manufacturing firm in the S. Seattle area is looking to hire a skilled receptionist/office administrator. This role is a contract to hire and the shift is 8a.m.-5p.m. This role is paying $16-19 an hour depending on experience. The ideal candidate would have 1-3 years of working in an office setting. The main duties of this role is answering multi-phone lines and greeting customers as they enter the building. Will be using Microsoft office products to help support the sales team and help with invoices.
Duties:
* Answers phones in a timely manner, and expedites calls to the appropriate person/department
-Must have Good Communication and Customer Service skills.
* Greet and Direct Visitors
* Maintains Employee Attendance Log
* Must have Microsoft Office Software knowledge (Outlook, Word, and Excel) to assist sales dept with occasional data entry,
* Oversees Needs of Copier, Fax, and Postage Meter
-Responsible for mailing or shipping Parts Manuals, Engineering Drawings and occasional Small Parts (seals, bolts or nuts) via USPS (Regular Mail), Priority Mail, UPS and Fed Ex.
* Filing Invoices as needed, and yearly purging.
* Assist Sales Dept with customer requests for invoice copies, freight tracking numbers and
Freight charges

This person needs to be eager to learn and have a great attitude. An AA degree is preferred, but not required.
