ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Coordinates the loss control workload, reporting, and workflow processes. 2. Acts as the liaison between underwriting and loss control, assisting in the ordering, follow up, and communications between the loss control and underwriting staff. 3. Oversees quality control, recommendation management, recommendation follow up, productivity tracking, and vendor management. 4. Works with underwriting to conduct loss control/UW audits. 5. Develops and monitors corporate risk management in establishing and monitoring KPI’s relevant to loss controltriggers, standards, and Underwriting expectations. 6. Identifies policies needing loss control. 7. Ensures time service and delivery standards are adhered to. 8. Works with UW team to track underwriting action. 9. Assist management in state compliance audits, preparation, and presentations. 10. Assist management with travel requests and expense reports. 11. Perform other duties as requested. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. College Degree or equivalent work experience required. 2. Minimum 4 years experience with commercial lines insurance; underwriting, loss control, and/or claims preferred. 3. Experience with ImageRight. 4. Proficient in Microsoft Office products. 5. Strong research skills, with the ability to use the internet to research companies, business, industries, and related risks. 6. Good communication skills both oral and written. 7. Ability to multi-task and stay organized. 8. Ability to interact with others in a professional manner 9. Sense of urgency for time sensitive issues. 10. Ability to travel occasionally, including overnight stays. 11. Sit, stand, walk/ambulatory. 12. Ability to lift 10 pounds.
