We have an opportunity in our Farmington Hills, MI office for a Mid-Level Civil Engineer with 8-12 years of experience, who aspires to become an active employee in a vibrant, well-established company. Leading and/or supporting project teams both in the office and in the field on projects associated primarily with industrial/municipal infrastructure improvements, storm water management, wastewater treatment, surveying, geotechnical services, civil design, asset management, infrastructure inspection, transportation, etc.

Development of project design documents, feasibility study reports, client proposals, project schedules, vendor safety approvals, health and safety documents purchase orders, and vendor invoicing

Coordinating multidiscipline project engineering/design teams

Construction management and oversight

Management and mentoring of junior engineering staff

Qualifications

B.S. in Civil Engineering is required (MS preferred)

PE is required

8-12 years of relevant consulting experience preferably working on industrial/municipal infrastructure projects

Familiar with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, MS Project, PC SWMM, HEC-RAS

Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time regionally

Ability to effectively communicate with other technical professionals, clients, and regulatory officials both verbally and in writing

Must reside in Farmington Hills, MI or surrounding area
