In this pivotal, critical customer touch retail sales position, you will be assisting in leading a dynamic sales. We are devoted to helping individuals and families create something fresh and new in their homes: not just selecting furniture, but helping them design their living space.

Summary of Responsibilities:

*Champions our Mission, Values and Customer Beliefs

* Work with our Sales Associates oncreating, communicating, and executing on the Selling System

*Ensures excellent customer service experience

*Ability to effectively recruit and train a strong staff

*Mentors and coaches store associates

*Assists with executing the staffing plan

*Addresses problems or issues in store under-performance

*Monitors sales associate performance based on established goals

*Implements process and policy standards across store

* Assists in supervising the showroom appearance standards from general cleanliness and tidiness to complete and accurate price tagging

*Assist General Manager with opening/closing the store & all management tasks - including hiring, terminations, store operations, store appearance, etc

*Advise Guest Service Representative team on questions/issues relating to sales entry, inquiry, resolution



Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in 'high customer expectation' work, such as serving in food and beverage, hotels or hospitality can be helpful but is not required
  • Entrepreneurial and team oriented
  • Able to coach and help directed Sales Associates
  • High energy 'people person', relentless in pleasing the customer
  • Professional, driven, positive, resilient, and achievement-focused
  • Detailed, strong follow up and follow through: excellent time-management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills: a great listener
  • Basic computer knowledge is required
  • Enjoys and can work some evenings and all weekends as part of a flexible and accommodating full- time 40 hour per week work schedule
  • High school diploma is required
