The position is responsible for directing the activities of the Food Service Commercial and Non-commercial Operator Business in a specific geographic territory or with specific groups of customers and market segments. This will require coordinating field sales and internal sales departments in an effort to increase efficiency and therefore profitability of the division. Specific responsibilities include driving profitable sales growth by managing the field sales team and broker network. Additional responsibilities will include interfacing with the sales administration & pricing organization to establish and monitor pricing strategies, managing marketing development funds and working with senior marketing & sales management to develop the annual sales plan. Additional responsibilities will include working with Tyson Business Units, revenue management group and supply chain to manage customer contracts and pricing. Frequent contact with key customers to determine and meet needs, managing the sales Team's progress, and developing solid working relationships with our customers will all be of primary importance. Other responsibilities include hiring, training, developing, motivating, and evaluating account managers in order to achieve division and company goals and objectives. Regular duties include the evaluation, development, negotiation and implementation of specific Sales/Customer Development programs to exceed the division's sales and profit goals.


Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Experience: 10 + years Foodservice. National Account Sales or Sales Management preferred Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Knowledge of the Tyson Systems is helpful.

Travel: 25 or more trips per year.
