Corporate Accounting ManagerKelly Financial ResourcesKelly Financial Resources is a national search firm that partners with global employers, industry leaders, and top growing organizations to augment their talent needs. Job DescriptionOur client, one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager.  This position will lead general accounting, financial statements, internal controls, GAAP compliance, M&A accounting and due diligence, and ad-hoc finance projects.Responsibilities

  • Lead team responsible for financial statements, general accounting and internal controls
  • Lead corporate financial statement consolidation
  • Prepare and assist with company budgeting, forecasting, and planning 
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting as assigned 
  • Support continual process improvements and system enhancements 
  • Supervise accounting staff’s completion of month-end and year-end responsibilities 
  • Support implementation of financial systems, including upgrades and training 
  • Manage and lead an accounting team of 6 direct reports 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and finance leadership 
  • Support all ad hoc projects such as acquisition, M&A accounting
  • Qualifications

  • B.A. degree in Accounting 
  • Prefer CPA certification and public accounting experience
  • 4-8 years of progressive Accounting experience 
  • Advanced Excel skills 
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
